Archaeological Field Schools in Peru and Tanzania

The Anthropology department at UNCG is once again offering two summer field schools.

Dr. Egeland will be taking students to Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania to participate in paleoanthropological field research and laboratory investigation.

Dr. Nash will be taking students to Peru to learn basic techniques in artifact analysis and human osteology with collections from the Wari site of Cerro Baúl and others dating to later periods (ca. 600- 1500CE).
